The wizard was unable to find any issues.įinally, I decided to do a full wipe/format of the system and install from scratch. I also ran the Microsoft troubleshooting wizard for fixing audio issues in Windows 8. I uninstalled and reinstalled the device driver, I uninstalled and reinstalled the sound controller and I also disabled and re-enabled the services that are responsible for Windows sound.
